the manor wedding venue cost

They really went above and beyond. It smells old. rst, having to pay for a food tasting is ridiculous, we brought 175 guests; they could've given us a free meal to try our food options. We've been here on multiple occasions, and had always thought very highly of the venue. The moment we walked in the building, we were treated with such respect and care. I assumed that was for COVID reasons to decrease interactions as there were plent Impeccable! I have to say the venue is gorgeous! Everything about the Manor was beautiful. Our wedding was every bit the dream we hoped for! Good service and food! They exceeded my expectations. Jennifer answered every. I am delighted to give The Manor in West Orange NJ the highest rating possible. The inside of the venue is ultra classy, the epitome of old world decadence. Never in my dreams did I think that we would not have a matre D because she was running another wedding. Because she was running the other wedding before us. was amazing all our guest were telling us how they couldn't believe that they liked every thing they were served! We were close to hitting that number, but didn't quite make it. They really made us feel like a king and queen. They will make your dream come true like they did for us! By the time I came out, ready to finally eat something, our lovely Maitre D rolled out the cake, and said it was time to cut the cake, so he would "pack up my food" to go. Additionally, on the day of the wedding the room in which we were getting married was littered with trash from the party the day before. I will cherish this place forever, plan to do anniversary events in the future, and pray the buffet dinners will make a come back! It's so convenient that there is a bar upstairs so the after party continued there and our friends/family who wanted to keep the party going stayed. The dessert spread was AMAZING. - before the thunderstorms hit, but it was a seamless transition to the indoor space that the Manor had already prepared. As an added bonus, our rooftop nightclub at The Manor makes an after-party a true experience for those who just don't want the wonderful night to end. Everything went so well. due to the venue. The service the day of by the staff was IMPECCABLE. I LOVED HER! The coordinators and staff were extremely helpful and pleasant throughout the entire process. All were beautiful and so much fun! One that was never even used, was missing. That's beside the point though. It was very clear that I was 1 of 3 brides that night and no one made our reception their priority. They said linens would be ready by 9am to setup centerpieces but only some linens were out. The bridal suite was gorgeous, and we just felt so cared for. It was great to have a place to relax before the party and store everyone's stuff. everything and he did a great job helping us organize everything. If you can snag a day (like Sunday or off-season) where you're the only wedding, or 1 of 2, instead of 1 of 3, it's probably better. I always want a romantic garden wedding and The Manor def is the perfect match! From the moment she came to the bridal suite through the end of the night she was sweet and attentive. )..I cant say enough about her. The staff is very friendly and professional. They were worth every penny! SO MANY AMAZING THINGS TO SAY ABOUT THE MANOR!! Our wedding was perfect, and they exceeded our expectations! ocktail hour, one outside and one inside. How wrong we were! The entire staff at the Manor were fantastic, they were very helpful and attentive the whole night. I cannot forget about the food; it is absolutely amazing and the cake (baked in house) was so delicious. The grounds are amazing for photographs. As we arrived, we noticed no one was checking temperatures. Beautiful curated outdoor space AND indoor space if weather is poor. With his welcoming demeano We had our wedding at the Manor.Everything leading up to the wedding - all planning and working with Preston was just great. The Manor was by far the best value for price. Such a fun night! Our contact person (who is essentially the sales representative assigned to you at the beginning who goes on to handle the entire planning process) left a lot to be desired. All of our decorations/centerpieces looked exactly as I pictured and they worked with us to make what we wanted happen. I would not get hung up on the fact that you may not be the only wedding. The food was great, the venue is gorgeous, especially the ceremony space outdoors, and the staff is truly unparalleled in their customer service. Because of budget, we had to choose an afternoon wedding but it turned out mo First off, when we first went to visit this place, my now husband came out of his car and told me we shouldn't even bother because this place was "too nice" and therefore out of our budget. Our meal was $300 so although the gift certificate helps, be prepared to pay out ya a**. I am SOO glad we did. Our cocktail hour was held adjacent to the Imperial Room where there was a view of the fountain with windows all around. flawless. The grounds are beautiful and my guests enjoyed the food and raved about the cocktail hour ( I didn't get to try the food because of the We recently had our wedding reception at The Manor in the Virginia Room and it was absolutely wonderful. So as Im walking along the cracked paver pathway, I asked As I am walking along here Ill just be surrounded by dirt? The ONLY con was during our booking, we were told we could not negotiate the price per head for the ceremony because they STRICTLY hold only 1 ceremony per day. verything! A moment in our life, that should be a memory of a joyous event, will forever be linked with frustration, disappointment & embarrassment. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and really well maintained. They were wonderful with us. We are still receiving thank you notes from our guests saying what a beautiful and amazing wedding it was we can best attribute Wow, The Manor helped to make my wedding magical. The only reason I gave it a 2 star bc it was a beautiful day and the Matrede was amazing the place is beautiful and at the end of the day we had a great night with good music and our family And friends but before you book with them make sure to ask all your questions . verything was so easy and pleasant. He was also very kind to my parents, which I very much appreciated. Complete chaos. He was humorous, kind and professional. The two minor set backs and reason for 4 stars - we were told we would have two bars during c Great location, wonderful premises. I will MOST DEFINITELY not be happening here. It was apparent that we were working with true professionals. Then a blonde woman, carrying papers, folders and other office items enters the building. They were amazing since day one. From our first visit (it's GORGEOUS) and meeting with a wedding coordinator/manager Rolf, we knew it was a very special place. They charge ~215-220 pp with tax included. As we are walking through, he informs us that there would be NO FLOWERS ANYWHERE on the grounds in November. Literally all of our guests enjoyed it. ian hour was more than could have ever been expected! The only. He was very responsive and he made sure we had everything we could possibly need all night long. I got married at The Manor a few weeks ago and it was the most beautiful perfect day I could've asked for. enal. ur treatment by Roman, one of the managers there. I would certainly do more events here if I get the chance to! What is even more upsetting is that several guests left early because they felt uncomfortable. This venue radiates elegance. I'm glad we found The Manor. They even invite you back for dinner on your first anniversary :) How amazing is that?! Now, for the negatives. The best part about having the ceremony outside was the fact that we did not need any decorations since the gardens are so beautiful. I worked with Preston Postelwaite who is the banquet manager and threw in lots of extras for us. It is NOT an all inclusive venue like three other websites claim. had, that the place was beautiful, and food was delicious. I re-explained to Rolf that I specifically saw it&thanked the guest who brought that specific bottle. Would definitely recommend having your wedding here! I cant thank The Manor enough for giving us the perfect day. Plus, since it's a restaurant, My husband and I plan on coming here yearly for our anniversary. The grounds and property of the manor are simply stunning, our photographs are amazing! Otherwise, it was perfect. It was a bit overwhelming when we arrived due to the number of parties leaving and arriving and it took a minute for us to figure out where to go. The reception rooms are equally as nice - we were in the Virginia Room, which was perfect -- guests had access to the outdoor gardens all evening. They can also do a lot of extras that not all venues can do. d guide you every step of the way. Preston was our go-to and he made it possible for us to plan the wedding from out-of-state by accommodating deadlines to when we would be back in town, answering questions by phone and email promptly, allowing us to send table charts electronically, and making sure that everything from cake to menu to indoor/outdoor set up was exactly to our liking. rs we dealt with (Rolf and Preston) NEVER pressured us to make a decision and were always helpful and calming. Would highly recommend The Manor to anyone! the staff and service excellent!! All of our guests said it was by far the best wedding reception they had ever been to!!! We decided almost instantly to go with The Manor and it turned out to be the second best decision of our wedding behind deciding to get married in the first place! seemed to attempt to do his best, as well. Fortunately, they charge the remaining non existing guests as vendors, so they were half price which ended up saving us a ton! The personal attendant was always so friendly and helpful. We had our ceremony outside and the space was absolutely perfect (70 degree day in late October, so we got lucky on that part!) The food was delicious and our cocktail hour and signature drinks were wonderful. Roman took care of us from day one. The other set back was with our day of coordinator who seemed to be MIA. Loved everything about it! The quality of the food was just above and beyond any other wedding venue I've been too. The venue is Beautiful and the workers are great! The manor is stunning and they get an A++++++++++++++ in customer service! All the staff at the Manor are hard working and helpful. I dont think that we asked for anything extraordinary, but it was great to be accommodat Do yourself and your guests a favor and book with The Manor. Yes I get it we had a wedding during covid and the staff was young but its a wedding we paid for and it should have went off better. I can only assume it was about my mother, my fianc and myself. We had a fantastic experience on our wedding day and so many of our guests said that it was the best wedding they had ever been to, it was like a fairy tale, and so on. I recently had my wedding at The Manor on Sept 25th and this venue was simply perfect. The place is ridiculously beautiful and Rolf Shick, the catering manager made our choice an easy one. And to be fair, if I had known all of this, I still would choose The Manor because our wedding was amazing. I think they were overwhelmed by the fact that there were several weddings going on, but we were also paying guests, and deserved to get what we paid for, and to be treated as . guests! My maid of honor saw how uncomfortable I was and went to get another manager. Strike 1. All of our guests can't stop telling us about what a great time they had, how nice the venue was, how delicious the food was, the bar, and the Our wedding was everything and more then what we expected! Our goal was to make our guests feel comfortable&safe. Since we wanted our ceremony on site, we were told we would have to have 125 people. We received so many compliments on the grounds, the staff and most of all the buffet! Thank you for everything! For example, one would tell us they could make a gluten-free cake with a certain design and another would say they couldn't and veto the design. On our card& gift table we had 1 large gift basket. If you want to have the ceremony there, I can virtually guarantee you won't get the same value for money spent anywhere else. The Manor is historical, and has been known and loved by all for so many years.
